McDonald's "new" Quarter Pounder Deluxe is the replacement for the departed Angus Deluxe and features the same American cheese (but only one slice instead of two), tomato, leaf lettuce, red onions, crinkle-cut pickles and mayo. The Quarter Pounder Deluxe is back at McDonald's, with the new additions of Roma tomatoes and ketchup, and returning toppings raw onions, mayonnaise.
In France, Belgium and Portugal for example, the Quarter Pounder, which by standard includes cheese is called Royal Cheese.

It seems adding mayo, lettuce, tomato and removing one slice of cheese pimps up the standard burger to the Deluxe version. Perfect for a quick meal or hearty snack, the Bacon Deluxe includes three delicious strips of Applewood-smoked bacon along with a quarter-pound beef. The third option will be Habanero In addition to the new buns, the new Quarter Pounders will also use a thicker apple wood-smoked bacon.
